GOLDEN OLDIES

This gallery contains images of some memorable birds that have been recorded in the county in years gone by. We are particularly looking for pre 2000 photographs (they do not necessarily have to be extremely rare species, anything that would jog some memories are acceptable) and if you can supply any ‘background history’ about the bird that would be a bonus! As you will see the quality may not be what we have come to expect in these days of digital photography but they are, in some cases, important records. We hope that they will prove interesting, perhaps instructive and may bring back some fond memories if you saw them!
