As we had only just returned from a trip to South Africa on Friday the first opportunity I had to view was after covering my son in his computer shop in Rothbury. Turning up at the flash late afternoon only a few people were present and the Citrine performed magnificently with extreme close views down to 3 metres. Presumably a case if it never having encountered humans before. Certainly I have never managed to get this near to a Yellow Wagtail.
