As well as catching up with a few local birders (Joe, Michael, Lindsay, Phil) while the bird was distant\/absent, the trip climaxed with extraordinary views of the bird as it flew in and landed 30&#8242; away from myself, two visiting birders from Cleveland and a small group of Farne Islands rangers.
