{"id":5657,"date":"2015-05-28T23:00:24","date_gmt":"2015-05-28T23:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ntbc.org.uk\/?p=5657"},"modified":"2015-12-17T23:51:58","modified_gmt":"2015-12-17T23:51:58","slug":"big-waters-28th-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ntbc.org.uk\/?p=5657","title":{"rendered":"Big Waters &#8211; 28th May 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was really nice to see a pair of Great Crested Grebes and eight Common Terns today which at times came fairly close to the bird hide. \u00a0I recorded \u00a0four species of Warbler which included Sedge, Reed, Willow and Chiffchaff. There were also reports of a Garden Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat. I miss the days when you could easily hear Grasshopper Warbler at Big Waters.<\/p>\n<p>The feeding station was full of life with the usual assortment of Tree Sparrow, Robin, Chaffinch, Great Tit and Blue Tit. These were joined by a single Long-tailed Tit. It was great to see the Yellowhammers were still present and I counted four on this occasion.
