A good find for Mike Shaw/Andy Cowell this morning with an adult Spotted Sandpiper on the Foxton Bends stretch of the River Aln. A third record of a bird being shot pre-1809 at Bellingham, was rejected in 1971 though I doubt there are many around that remember that particular individual….
