A flock of 14 Waxwings , 8 Tree Sparrows and a Peregrine just north of the Woodhorn Windmill at midday which livened up a very dull Winter thrush survey. Also a large pale ‘Buzzard like’ predator seen from behind heading south at Woodhorn briefly before disappearing from view. Another one that got away…
